WinSCP and CThumb tutorial


Start WinSCP, fill in "hostname", "username" and check the "SCP" box
Optional" click "Save" and give a name to the session

Type your password now.
Left panel is your PC; right panel, your server folder. On the left, go to the picture album; on the right, double click on "public_html" until you see it written on the title bar.
Click the picture album to the left, and select "Copy" (or press F5).
Double-click the picture album on the right panel; select "Open Terminal" from the "Commands" menu (or CTRL+T).

Making sure you're inside the right album, execute the "reducirfotos" command (optional step).
Now, execute "cthumb -c * > album.dat".
Close the terminal, right-click on the "album.dat" file, select "Edit" (or just press F4).
Find the "AlbumTitle" line, and name your album.

Scroll down to the line beginning with "Page:". Name your first page, and title it.
Write comments for each picture, only in the lines not starting with a dash.
Make sure only picture files are listed. Save the file and close the editor.
Open the terminal (CTRL+T), execute "Cthumb album.dat".

Done! The new album files appear on the right panel.
